Papillio Climate brings 10+ years of carbon markets experience from both sides of the transaction: technical project development and registry strategy on one side, buyer procurement and climate investor due diligence on the other.
The firm's principal built a $5.5M+ pipeline at EcoEngineers advising project developers across CDR pathways (BECCS, biochar, soil carbon, ERW, DAC, mCDR) and supporting corporate buyers on procurement strategy and project evaluation. That work included co-authoring the Brilliant Planet marine microalgal CDR methodology, the first-of-kind framework for ocean-based carbon removal crediting, directing LCFS verification for 26 producers, and establishing EcoEngineers' European market presence navigating first-of-kind registry pathways for BECCS.
What that work made clear: projects fail not because they're technically weak, but because they're positioned for the wrong buyers or communicated in language those buyers don't understand. Strong supply finds weak communication. Weak supply finds nothing.
